High Speed Capping Machines

This process is for establishing electrical contact with the resistive element metallised on the Ceramic Substrates and providing a base for the leads.


In this process Tin/Nickel Plated Cold Rolled Steel Caps are force fitted on the metallised ceramic core by a High Speed Capping Machine GC 880 which is a leading high speed capping machine for all kinds of ceramic rods, it is equipped with a 60-Pin consecutive rotary punching system and gear feeding devices which enhance the capping capacity higher and yield rate improved significantly.

The dimensions of the substrate and of the cap are so designed so as to establish a firm contact with the resistive film. The machine has auto sensing devices for any discrepancy in process and subsequent sieving proves ensures segregation of non conforming parts to avoid jamming and quality problems in the subsequent stages of production.
